Festive Holiday Cocktails to Make Spirits Bright

With the holiday season and parties in full swing, you'll need plenty of festive spirits to keep your guests merry & bright. We're featuring a collection of holiday cocktails from women-owned spirit brands, and some favorite bloggers, to spread some holiday cheer!



2oz Heimat New York Cranberry

1oz White rum

6oz Eggnog


Directions:

Add liqueur and rum into a clear mug or glass. Slowly add the eggnog and stir if desired.


 


8oz Heimat New York Bosc Pear

750ml dry white wine

3 cloves

3 Orange slices

2 Cinnamon sticks

2 Tablespoons honey

1 Star Anise


Directions:

Bring everything to a simmer (don't boil) and serve when you're ready.


 


Mix Square One Bergamot with muddled fresh berries or juice, like this cocktail featuring pomegranate.

1.5 oz. Square One Bergamot

1 oz. POM pomegranate juice

.5 oz. fresh lime juice

.5 oz. agave nectar or simple syrup


Directions:

Put all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with crushed ice. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Lime twist garnish.

2 oz. Inspiro Tequila

1 oz. Freshly Brewed Espresso or Cold Brewed Coffee

1 oz. Agave Syrup


Directions:

Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

Shake very well – for about 30 seconds.

Strain into a chilled martini glass.

Garnish with 3 coffee beans and a toasted marshmallow.

For an extra kick, mix coarse sea salt with ground espresso into a flat dish. Rim martini glass with a lemon wedge and dip to coat rim in the mixture.

Pro Tip: Chill your martini glasses in the freezer for 15 minutes for an elevated cocktail presentation.


 


1.5 oz SIA Scotch Whisky

0.75 oz Vermouth

0.75 oz Italian Apértif

Orange Slice for garnish


Directions:

Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass, add ice and stir for 20 seconds. Pour over ice into a rocks glass. Garnish and enjoy.

Cinnamon Honey Syrup:

1/2 cup honey

2 cinnamon sticks

1 sprig fresh rosemary


Bourbon Fizz:

1 1/2 ounces (3 tablespoons) bourbon

1 ounce (2 tablespoons) aperol

1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) lemon juice

1-2 dashes orange or rosemary bitters

1 -2 ounces cinnamon syrup (recipe above)

sparkling water, for topping


Directions:

1. Make the cinnamon honey syrup. In a medium pot, bring 1/2 cup water, the honey, cinnamon, and rosemary to a boil over high heat. Boil 2-3 minutes, then remove from the heat. Let cool, then strain the syrup into a glass jar.

2. In a punch bowl, combine the cinnamon syrup, bourbon, Aperol, lemon juice, and orange or rosemary bitters. Stir to combine, chill until ready to serve. Before serving, add ice, then pour the sparkling waters over. Serve with sugared rosemary (recipe above).

Ingredients

1 1/2 ounce vodka

1/2 ounce elderflower liqueur

Cranberries

Mint leaves


Directions:

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.

Pour in the vodka, elderberry liqueur, cranberry juice, and simple syrup.

Shake until chilled.

Strain into a martini glass.

Garnish by tossing in a few cranberries and floating mint leaves on top.
